Integrative Stress Reduction Yoga
Integrative Stress Reduction Yoga uses a combination of relaxing, restful postures, breath, sound, and visualization to give its participants an ongoing opportunity to practice self-awareness, gently develop more ease in movement, expand the breath, and offers positive space for reflection. Science tells us that psychological stress can affect the immune system, the body’s defense against infection and disease, including cancer. Reducing stress benefits us physically, mentally, and emotionally. Learn various techniques to help reduce stress and balance mind, body and spirit. Provide the body an opportunity to renew and heal. Tools offered are designed to be adaptable to the needs of each individual. Classes are open to all levels. They are specifically designed for adults facing stress, injury, or illness.
